The Garland Company Inc. seeks Business Systems Analyst in Cleveland, OH to perform the following duties: Provide ongoing analysis and planning of the company's business processes as they relate to Information Technology. Quickly understand the business issues and data challenges of the organization and industry. Identify the organization's strengths and weaknesses and suggest areas of improvement. Review and edit requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations related to proposed solutions. Develop functional specifications and I.T. system design specifications. Lead testing efforts. Ensure issues are identified, tracked, reported, and resolved in a timely manner. Work with software developers to identify required changes. Assist in the facilitation of team and client meetings. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Economics, or Industrial Engineering. Requires two years of Business Systems Analyst experience, including the following: at least one programming language (.Net, 4GL); quantitative and analytical skills to convert data into business solutions; MS Excel, Word, Access, database apps. 40 hrs/wk.Hours Required: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am -- 5:00 pmEEO/AA Employer/Vet/Disabled
