OverviewLovelace Biomedical is seeking an Equipment Specialist. Under general supervision, individual will be responsible for equipment validation, calibration and testing requirements of the Institute. Incumbent will report to Quality, while coordinating with ITS, QA, scientific staff, and outside service vendors.
QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED and a minimum of two (2) years of equivalent work experience in a research, commercial or hospital laboratory with demonstrated ability to successfully perform a variety of routine laboratory procedures using standard laboratory equipment and instruments or equivalent combination of directly related education and experience.
Preferred/Additional QualificationsScientific instrument usage experience required; prior knowledge of calibration and or validation techniques preferred. Preference will be given to applicants who have a Bachelors Degree in Life Science or combination of degree, experience in a GLP-regulated environment, and hands on experience with various laboratory equipment.
SalarySalary is commensurate with experience.
