　　Job Description:

　　Leads a team of Equipment Operators and performs work as an Equipment Operator, as needed.

　　Allocates equipment and personnel based upon project priorities. Communicates effectively with client,

　　project personnel and team members. Coordinates proper maintenance and repair of assigned

　　equipment. Ensures safe work practices and compliance with safety requirements at all times.

　　Completes all necessary administrative requirements and performs duties of subordinate personnel as

　　required. Operates light, medium and some heavy equipment and light to heavy duty trucks. Performs a

　　variety of skilled and semi-skilled duties related to project construction, operations and maintenance

　　activities. May operate single axle dump trucks, dual axle dump trucks with automatic and manual

　　transmissions, loaders, roller and compactors, tractors, sprayers, sweepers, plows, forklifts, backhoes

　　and related equipment. Checks equipment condition and reports major mechanical issues; performs

　　minor or emergency repairs, if needed. May train less skilled workers in operation and care of

　　equipment. Performs manual labor or other duties as necessary.

　　SUPERVISION EXERCISED:

　　As directed by management, may supervise employees or subcontractor personnel in accordance with

　　the “General Supervisory Duties and Responsibilities” addendum.

　　TYPICAL REQUIREMENTS:

　　Position may be located in a wide variety of environments, from conventional indoor office workspace to

　　project worksites with harsh, working and living conditions.

　　To ensure compliance with safety, health and security requirements in the contract, employee will

　　possess the ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language at the intermediate level as

　　necessary to perform assigned job functions.

　　Position requires the basic skills and physical ability necessary to perform assigned job functions.
