Position Overview
As an Entry Level Equipment Engineer, you will support tunnel and marine construction. This position is responsible for the planning, scheduling, budgeting, utilization and reliability of a construction and mining equipment fleet. The position will deal with day to day as well as long term issues related to an equipment fleet. The position’s main focus will be to improve equipment reliability as well as implement, monitor, audit, and manage preventative maintenance programs.

McNally is recognized as Canada's leading Tunnel Contractor, with experience building tunnels with a wide range of tunneling methods, for end uses including utilities (water, sewer, steam, power transmission,) and transportation (subways, traffic, pedestrians walkways). On the water we boast one of the best equipped marine construction fleets in Eastern Canada; able to successfully handle a wide variety of marine construction jobs (docks, wharfs, pipelines, dredging, shore protection etc.) effectively and efficiently.

Responsibilities
• Preparing shift/daily or weekly reports
• Completion of daily hourly employee timesheets
• Completion of daily equipment timesheets
• Procurement/processing of temporary and permanent materials
• Support for the Yard manager as required.
• Support the QHSE department as required
• Support the Equipment department as required
Qualifications
Education Requirement
• Post-secondary education or equivalent experience an asset.
• Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering degree/diploma an asset
Experience Requirements
• Knowledge of MS Office Products.
• Experience with scheduling software is considered an asset (P6, MS Projects)
License/Certification:
• Drivers License (required)
