  This is a remote opportunity based in the US with up to 20 hours per week during the semester, up to 40 hours in the summer if not taking coursework. The position is available beginning June 2024 for 6 months.

  The individual will conduct literature searches for population-based incidence and prevalence across US, UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, China, and Japan. They will assess article methodology for use in development of forecasted epidemiology at the country level. Some modeling is necessary. The individual will work with a mentor on specific assigned indications. Indications may be large chronic conditions and / or more rare disease areas.

  Responsibilities

  Necessary Skills/ Experience:

  Current MPH students studying Epidemiology with at least 1 year of degree program completed.

  Strong research background with experience conducting literature reviews.

  Working knowledge of quantitative epidemiological and scientific analysis.

  Working knowledge of statistical analysis software tools (e.g. SAS, SPSS or STATA), as well as Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  Hiring Range: from $18.99 to $53.00 per hour; from $39,500 to $110,240 per annum.

  Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

  11 paid holidays

  Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
