Job Description Summary
Join Kyndryl as an Epic ODBA – Operational Database Admin! We are seeking a driven and skilled individual with strong Epic Technical experience and Cloud background to work in the Healthcare provider and payer space as we support our customers in their EHR to cloud journey.
What you’ll do in this role:
You will be responsible for delivering and implementing Epic systems in a variety of capacities which include on-prem environments as well as supporting initiatives to migrate to the public/private cloud.
Serve as a subject matter expert in a consulting capacity for clients as they transition to alternative cloud hosting solutions.

Who You Are
Required Experience:
Minimum 3+ years’ experience with the following:
Epic ODBA Certification (Cache/Iris)
Experience in implementation and management of Epic ODBA environments
Experience in configuring and maintaining environment copies
Experience installing and maintaining admin/monitoring tools required to monitor Epic system
Experience using Cache and Epic Chronicles utilities
Strong knowledge of command shell (Korn, POSIX, Bourne, or C)
Strong understanding of OS concepts; ex: group ownership, file permissions, etc.
Experience with AIX/RedHat Linux
Experience leading Epic Technical implementations
Experience assessing system and infrastructure needs to support optimum uptime, performance, and availability efficiencies
Knowledge of Healthcare Payer & Provider EHR systems
Knowledge of Healthcare Payer & Provider IT operations, processes, and requirements
Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field
Preferred Experience:
Over 5 years of experience with Epic focused on implementation and administration of Epic ODBA environments
Proven success in multiple project implementations
Ability to lead presentation of project idea, status, solution, and results
Proven skills in data analysis and presentation of data
Strong analytical, problem solving, negotiation, and collaboration skills
Ability to produce accurate and precise work, detect discrepancies and resolve discrepancies while meeting deadlines
Proficiency with MS Office skills (Visio, Project, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) SharePoint required
Master’s Degree in healthcare administration or related field
Cloud Certification/Experience (AWS, Azure, GCP)
If you are hired, the anticipated compensation range for the position is
$102,390 $233,450 based on a full-time schedule. Your ultimate compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills and experience. For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately.
If this is a sales role, you may be eligible for additional incentive compensation opportunities. For non-sales roles, you may be eligible for Kyndryl’s Shared Success plan.
