　　Eastern Research Group is seeking highly motivated field technicians to support our ongoing fabrication and measurement work. Our measurements group includes a wide range of measurement services, including ambient air monitoring, continuous emissions monitoring systems, and advanced next-generation emissions monitoring services. As a part of our team, this position will execute and manage monitoring projects, methods research, and other air-related sampling and monitoring events. The individual will be required to engineer, design, build, test, and utilize equipment for air sampling and monitoring. This position will require travel to field locations for air quality measurements, with travel expected to be between 25%-50%. Mechanical and fabrication skills are essential to this role.

　　Job Description:Calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain air quality measurement instrumentationTransport field equipment to field sites, install instrumentation at field sitesSuccessfully complete all required annual safety trainingWork under the supervision of Project Managers and Field Team Leaders to set up equipment and collect air quality data. Support equipment repair, calibration, and maintenanceTroubleshoot and diagnose problems with equipment, and repair or replace defective parts as neededMaintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, preventive maintenance schedules, and equipment inventoryQualifications and Skills:Aptitude and interest in science, technical work, mechanical equipment, and air qualityProficient in instrumentation installation, calibration, testing, and operationAbility & willingness to travel 25-50% of the timeAbility to work in outdoor field settings Capability to pass background checks and initial and random drug screeningValid driver's license and ability to obtain and maintain DOT medical certification.High school diploma, basic math, science, and mechanical skills.Associate or bachelor's degree preferred (especially science, engineering, or related eld).Experience in mechanical, laboratory, eld science, etc. preferred.Knowledge of EPA source test methods/procedures, air quality or emission monitors, etc. preferred.A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is preferred but replaceable by experience hauling trailers across long distances.
