　　Responsibilities

　　Shift: 10 Hour Days

　　Job Summary:

　　Responsible for performing a variety of general cleaning tasks in maintaining patient rooms, offices, nurses’ stations, bathrooms, common areas, and other assigned areas.

　　Essential Duties:

　　Cleans all nurses units, patients’ rooms and all other designated facility areas.

　　Cleans walls, beds, commodes, mirrors, showers, fixtures, doors, closets, drawers, phones, inside windows, and water fountains.

　　Cleans up major spills when necessary, responding to pages in a timely manner.

　　Obtains all supplies and equipment for performance of tasks; cleans and restocks housekeeping carts at the end of each shift.

　　Responsible for stripping, waxing and polishing floors.

　　Responsible for extracting, shampooing and spotting all carpets and upholstery.

　　Removes all trash and linen within the unit.

　　Takes the soiled rags and mops to the soiled hold; empties and cleans mop buckets.

　　Makes a periodic check for environmental needs in assigned area.

　　Qualifications

　　License/Certification:

　　Valid Oregon Driver’s License. Driving record is clear of any chargeable accidents involving negligence within the previous 36 months, more than 2 moving violations in the previous 12 months, more than 4 moving violations in the previous 36 months, or any felony conviction, or D.W.I./D.U.I. conviction.Experience:

　　Healthcare EVS experience preferred.Education:

　　$16.26 - $22.36 /hour
