Adecco Medical & Science is hiring an Environmental Service Worker for a local client in Newark, NJ!

　　Location : Newark, NJ

　　Contract to possible Hire

　　Hours: 3:00pm to 11:30pm/ 7am-3pm

　　The anticipated wage for this position is between $15/hr and $16.94/hr

　　Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

　　• Keeps patient and non-patient areas of the facility clean, safe, and in an orderly condition.

　　• Cleans hospital patient rooms, baths, showers, laboratories, offices, corridors, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, elevators, stairways, locker rooms and other areas as assigned using approved cleaners and hospital approved germicide.

　　• Keeps utility and storage rooms in neat orderly condition.

　　• Transport trash and waste to disposal area.

　　• Sweeps, scrubs, waxes and polishes floors using required products and equipment.

　　• Stock custodial closet with cleaning supplies, paper products and plastic linens.

　　Job Requirements:

　　• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

　　Physical Demands:

　　• Climbing or balance, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk or hear, walking, reaching with hands and arms.

　　• Position requires lifting to 10lbs, lifting or exerting force of 25lbs.

　　• Position requires close vision, distance vision, color vision, and depth perception.

　　• Ability to hear pager alerts, overhead radio messages.

　　Work Environment:

　　• Position requires exposure to wet or humid conditions (non-weather).

　　• Exposure to blood-borne pathogens the require use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

　　• Exposure to dust, fumes or airborne particles, and exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals that require the use of PPE, exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
