In this role you will work as part of a team to provide support for chemical regulatory compliance projects focusing biocides, biocidal products, agrochemicals, and their authorizations, and provide high-level scientific support for projects centering on environmental forensics, and environmental chemistry. The ideal candidate for this unique position should be willing to expand their area of expertise into chemical regulations (in US, EU, and Asian countries) and environmental chemistry including, but not limited to chemistry of biocides and agrochemicals, risk assessment of the chemicals, safety of chemicals, environmental fate and transport of chemicals, and environmental forensics of chemical contaminants.You will be responsible forPreparing dossier for authorization of chemicals in Asian countries, particularly in KoreaReview studies and data of biocide, biocidal products, agrochemicalsCommunicating with government authorities on behalf of clientsWorking cooperatively on projects with other members of the Environmental and Earth Sciences Practice and interdisciplinary groups from other Exponent practices as appropriate such as Food safety and Chemical RegulationsDeveloping client relationships and building business in the Environmental and Earth Sciences Practice as well as Chemical Regulation PracticeYou will have the following skills and qualificationsPh.D. in Environmental Science or Engineering, Environmental Chemistry, Agrochemicals or pesticides, or similar disciplineMinimum 2 years-experience in consulting or other government agency (e.g., EPA, USDA) to be considered at Senior Scientist positionFluency in Korean in reading, writing, (and speaking) since chemical regulatory support projects require the language skillFamiliarity to chemical regulations (e.g., EU BPR, REACH, FIFRA) would be plusExcellent communication, organization, and writing skillsMust be detail-oriented, able to work independently and as part of a team, and manage time effectivelyStrong ability to prioritize multiple projects with competing deadlinesStrong commitment to personal and professional developmentApplicants are encouraged to submit a CV (Curriculum Vitae) with publications (feel fre
