  GHD is seeking an Environmental Scientist or Engineer to work with our EHS Compliance team on providing environmental consulting services to various industrial clients across the region.

  Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:

   

  Permit application development (e.g., air emissions, storm water discharges, wastewater discharges, etc.)Environmental plan development and updates, such as Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plans, Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs), and Hazardous Waste Contingency Plans (HWCPs)Environmental compliance reporting, such as air emissions reporting, hazardous waste generator reporting, and Emergency Planning Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA) reporting (i.e., Tier II and Form R)Conduct facility and site visits to gather information for written project workWrite technical reports and support development of client proposalsComprehend and interpret regulations and guidelinesWhat you will bring to the team:

   

  Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering or similar field of study0-2 years of experience with some knowledge of environmental regulations affecting industry preferred, but not requiredOSHA 40 Hour HAZWOPER certification is a plusAbility to perform field work and travel overnightStrong written and technical writing skills#LI-TG1
