　　DESCRIPTION OF WORKAs the Environmental Engineer, you will provide design, review, oversight, and management of water, wastewater, and bathing place projects. Additionally, you will be responsible for project management and coordination of infrastructure projects for the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR), working with consultants to ensure successful completion. In this role, you will perform advanced professional environmental engineering work requiring judgment in the independent evaluation, selection, substantial adaptation, and modification of standard techniques, procedures and criteria.

　　Full-time employmentWork hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 5 days in a 10 day pay period. Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.  REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONSMinimum Experience and Training Requirements:Four years of professional experience in environmental engineering, and possession of a valid Engineer-in-Training certificate issued by or acceptable to the Pennsylvania State Registration Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors and Geologists; orThree years of professional experience in environmental engineering, and possession of a valid Professional Engineer license issued by the Pennsylvania State Registration Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors and Geologists; orTwo years as an Environmental Engineering Specialist; orThree years of professional experience in environmental engineering, and a bachelor's degree in environmental engineering or in any engineering field that includes or is supplemented by 9 credits in environmental engineering; orGraduate study in environmental engineering or in a closely related field may be substituted for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.
