Activities and Responsibilities
Purpose of the Job:The incumbent is responsible for the development, implementation and cross-functional execution of the brand strategy for Entyvio in Slovakia and to develop strategic customer relationships with the relevant accounts for Takeda in the assigned territory.
Main Responsibilities as Marketing Lead:Develop, implement and ensure cross-functional execution of the local brand strategy for assigned products with focus on enhancing the long-term strategic objectives of assigned Countries in the respective therapeutic area.
Ensure proposed and executed brand strategy allows Takeda to make steps in becoming a Best in Class specialty care player, concretely:1. Demonstratea strong and competitive patient focus in the analysis of the therapeutic area,2. Develop and execute customer centric projects on national level and if needed regional level3. Pilot and drive innovation in collaboration with business partners and in line with Takeda’s aspirations
Ensure cross-functional alignment and orchestration around a common brand strategy all through interaction with external stakeholders. Analyse and consolidate a strong situational understanding, including market understanding, patient flow, market segmentation, key market drivers, and competition assessment. Develop strategies and objectives to support the consecution of company sales and business profitability each financial year and use these objectives to build comprehensive cross-functional plans as well as marketing action and budget plans.
Build and strengthen KOL partnerships in line with corporate strategy and requirements.
Track and monitor budget for allocated products with the support of Business Controller.
When needed, conduct market research from external and internal data sources to optimize product strategies.
Define ambitious goals and marketing plans for the allocated products in agreement with the Commercial Lead.
Monitor product performance and performance indicators.
Participate in national and international congresses and symposia.
Develop and implement a public relations policy related to products.
Prepare all promotional material required for effective product promotion in line with the Company's promotional policy.
Establish good communication with Commercial Lead, KAMs, Medical support, and PVA
Develop, plan and participate in preparation, implementation and execution of training programs for KAMs in collaboration with the Commercial Lead
Coach and mentor junior marketing team members in alignment with their development plans and in coordination with the BU Head
Orchestrate and coordinate activities, e.g. Brand meetings across all Takeda cross-functional teams
Operate in a manner that is always in line with compliance and legal requirements and according to the marketing and sales strategies
Gain and share customer insights through appropriate and relevant customer profiling (Market surveillance)
Perform local marketing, sales analyses and gain patient flow insights
Collaborate with internal and external partners to achieve outstanding results
Act as an ambassador for the Takeda brand, its vision and values that achieves patient focus at all levels of the business.
Education, Experience, and Skills
Required:University degree preferable in Medical, Pharmacy or Economics
Min 5 years pharmaceutical marketing experience with focus on extensive product/brand management
A good understanding of the national healthcare environment and health policy
Launch experience with new products or major line extension
Proven ability to think cross functionally and to lead cross-functional teams
Strong leadership as well as analytical capabilities, well organized and resourceful
Self-motivated and goal oriented, capable of multi-tasking and delivering results in a timely manner
Excellent communication skills and fluent in English
Good interpersonal skills with ability to build cross-cultural relationships
Desired:International experience working in a cross-cultural environment or multinational company
Experience in coaching and developing junior members is an advantage
