Entry Level CNC MachinistPrincipal Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Basic computer navigationskills required for data lookup and documenting daily activities tospecific jobs using company software. 2. Position and secure work piecesin fixtures or holding devices. 3. Start automatic operation of CNCmachine to machine parts to specifications. 4. Measure, examine, andtest completed parts in order to detect defects and ensure conformanceto specifications using precision measuring instruments. 5. Follow amanufacturing plan which includes; set up sheets, inspection guides, andapplicable work instructions, not all inclusive. 6. Confer withsupervisor or Level 3 CNC Machinist to resolve machine malfunctions andproduction errors, and obtain approval to continue production. 7. Mustdisplay organizational, as well as cleanliness skills to minimize thepotential for human error oversights. 8. Removal of burrs from machinedparts using a variety of hand and power tools. Entry Level CNC MachinistEducation/Experience: High School Education or equivalent is required.Entry Level CNC Machinist Physical Requirements: Spends prolongedperiods of time standing. Some exposure to noise, dirt, minor vibrationsand chemicals/solvents. May be required to lift, carry or push up to 40pounds.
