As an Entry-Level Architect-in-Training (A.I.T.) in one of our Jacobs offices, you’ll join a GID teams that provide our clients with award-winning planning, engineering, architectural design, construction management, and design-build project delivery. You’ll be part of a team that designs various types of buildings using Autodesk Revit or Autocad software and will plan and program layouts of projects, coordinating and integrating all other discipline elements into unified design for client review and approval.
As an A.I.T., you may help to direct activities of workers engaged in preparing drawings and specification documents for the Conceptual Design Phase, Schematic Design Phase, and/or the Detailed Design Phase of a project - Design work to be reviewed and stamped by a Registered Architect - Periodic travel to either client program or construction sites should be anticipated.

Here’s what you’ll need :
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an NAAB accredited program with goal of obtaining professional licensure.
Working knowledge of Revit and AutoCad software programs
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
Familiarity with international building codes and specifications
United States citizenship
