The Enterprise Security Team Leadcoordinates security personnel to ensure safety of all buildingoccupants across all of Northwestern Mutual\'s corporate campuses.Although this Team Lead\'s primary schedule is on 3rd shift, there isflexibility for this individual to split time across other shifts, basedon business needs. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Security ControlCenter Operations (35%): Monitors and operates the electronic securitysurveillance systems, automation systems, and life safety systems forthe NM complex. Initiates and coordinates the response of our Emergencyteam for building emergencies, i.e., fire, medical, weather. Duringemergencies is responsible for notification of NM operations management,fire and police departments, and medical transportation. Monitors CCTVcameras that are located throughout the complex, both inside andoutside, to recognize problems before they become security emergencies.Monitors elevator traffic screens to be able to recognize and deal withmalfunctions and remedy problems with elevator power switches.Responsible for calling proper contractors to service Security ControlCenter and operations equipment (elevators, escalators, computers, CCTVdoors). Monitors Honeywell, Johnson Control, and Westinghouse buildingautomation systems. Evaluates conditions, service calls, alarms anddispatches proper personnel to remedy problem or adjust for changingconditions or events. Receive messages and phone calls for facilitiesstaff (security, engineers, and janitors) and contracted services(Honeywell, Burns, Staff Electric) which then require locating eachindividual sending a voice message, or dispatching the information. TeamLeader for Security Officer Personnel (35%): Assigned Team Leader forsecurity officers on all staffs and weekends. In the absence of theManager of Security and Automated Services, provides assistance to thesecurity staff with problems that develop. Assists in normal securitypolicies or procedures. Monitors and reviews all security officers\' jobtasks. Creates and updates security access procedures, policies andguidelines, which enable the staff to perform in a thorough andefficient manner. Reviews logs, reports and registers checking forproper compliance with all security practices. Coordinates and developssecurity\'s role in NM Emergency Response Team.
