This position is accountablefor supporting operational excellence including safety, quality,delivery, and cost; achievement of revenue and profit growth targets andmaximum return on invested capital.
Essential Duties:
Accountable for operating as a profit and loss center, striving foroutstanding revenue, profit and cash performance through theleadership and direction of facility functions and teams deliveringproduct and services on time, at or above customer quality andservice expectations in compliance with applicable regulations.Develops and leads a culture of operational excellence and adheresto the highest standards in lead time, customer service, continuousimprovement, safety, quality, and delivery.Collaborates functionally and cross-functionally with colleaguesacross the enterprise to ensure strategies, actions, and decisionslead to achievement of enterprise-wide goals and objectives,successfully and seamlessly delivering to customers an integratedset of services and products.Adheres to core values and all safety, environmental, security andquality requirements including, but not limited to: QualityManagement Systems (QMS), Safety, Environmental and SecurityManagement Systems, company policies and operating procedures, andother regulatory requirements. (Federal CSA guidelines)Accountable for quality standards within the enterprise; championscontinuous improvement activities that improve QA/RA metrics anddrives ownership of QA/RA metrics across all functions.Meets divisional service metrics and KPI\'s to ensure customersatisfaction and contract obligations are being met across theenterprise.Responsible for operations technology.Reviews equipment purchases and needs.Reviews all customer contracts and communicates delivery andwarehouse expectations to the appropriate management team.Ensures projects are completed on time and accurate.Other duties as assignedQualifications:
Bachelor\'s degree required; additional education/certificationpreferred.6+ years leadership experience in a meat processing and regulatedenvironment.Must have knowledge in production, yields, and managing labor,overtime, and expenses.Demonstrated P&L management experience a plus.Must have demonstrated success in leading new process development.Working knowledge of capacity planning and logistics management.Demonstrated ability to manage complex technologies and developingfinancial plans to make technology investments return positivefinancial returns.Demonstrated leadership and team building skillsAbility to interface, problem solve, and drive solutions to meetcustomer requirements.Lean Manufacturing and continuous process improvement experienceStrong communicator: written and verbal (one-on-one and group)Strategic thinker: responsible for developing the plan; ability toconceptualize coherent view of facility in the future (6 months, oneyear, two years, five years)Ability to analyze, understand and effectively communicate technicalmaterialCorporate Summary:
