JOB REQUIREMENTS: Description The Enterprise Cloud Engineer isresponsible for driving cloud computing initiatives across theorganization. Define and execute on an enterprise cloud strategyincluding security, governance, development, and automation. Lead thebuilding and deploying of platform, software, and infrastructure as aservice. Lead a Cloud Center of Excellence team to provide a secure,stable, and fast environment for future growth. Essential FunctionsDevelop and Maintain Cloud Strategy: Ensure alignment with current andfuture organizational goals Build business case for cloud withautomation, optimization, and efficiency as key drivers to create afast, flexible, and stable platform Create criteria for evaluating andmanaging cloud service providers Develop documentation for all newprocedures, processes, workflows Establish cloud governance Evaluateskill gaps and provide mentoring Drive cloud adoption throughunderstanding of automation Create best practice expectations for PAAS,IAAS, and SAAS offerings Design and Implement Cloud Architecture: EnsureIdentity and Access Management policies are correctly translated tocloud Maintain security and compliance of cloud resources Evaluateapplications and solutions for cloud readiness Consult with IT on DevOpssolutions to design scalable, resilient, and responsive applicationsDevelop data and data analytics offerings Create DevOps Toolchain tofollow cloud software through the development lifecycle. Identify andcreate automated processes for all repeatable workflows Develop aframework for continually updating systems for functionality, security,and stability Deploy tools required to audit user, system and resourceusage Audit cloud environments for regulatory, security and performanceenhancements Operate at scale Provide thought leadership Guideorganization on cloud evolution and journey to digital transformationAssist IT in translating current processes into agile cloud frameworkEducate resources on modern cloud philosophy of innovation, rapidenablement, and elastic growth. Provide day-to-day support: Guaranteeoutage resolution, system/data access, and optimal performance andavailability Lead cross infrastructure problem tickets to resolutionProvide tier three (top level) support Provide evening and weekendtechnical support as required as well as on-call duties Completeincident and change tickets as assigned Manage relationships withservice providers, VARs, and software/infrastructure vendors Usemonitoring tools and system logs to proactively find and fix issuesUnderstands and is accountable for executing all job functions in a waythat is consistent with all requirements of BSA, OFAC, and the USAPatriot Act/Customer Identification Act (CIP).
