We are looking for experienced, innovative and motivated IT Specialists to support enablement US AFRICOM’s mission objectives.
What You’ll Get to Do:
CACI has an excellent opportunity for an experienced, self-directed, Enterprise Architect . This position is in support of a Department of Defense (DoD) organization, USAFRICOM located OCONUS in Stuttgart, Germany. This position is required to travel OCONUS.
Responsibilities:
Enterprise Architecture Design:
Lead the design and development of the organization's enterprise architecture.
Define and document IT standards, principles, and guidelines to guide technology decisions.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business goals and ensure IT solutions align with strategic objectives.
Technology Roadmapping:
Develop and maintain a comprehensive technology roadmap, outlining the evolution of the IT landscape over time.
Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to inform strategic decision-making.
Provide guidance on technology investments and opportunities for innovation.
Application and Data Architecture:
Define and maintain the application architecture, ensuring integration, scalability, and flexibility.
Design and implement data architectures, including data modeling, storage, and retrieval strategies.
Collaborate with database administrators and application developers to optimize data management.
Infrastructure and Cloud Architecture:
Design and maintain the organization's infrastructure architecture, including networks, servers, and storage.
Lead the adoption and integration of cloud services, ensuring security, compliance, and performance.
Implement strategies for hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
Security and Compliance:
Ensure that enterprise architecture solutions comply with security and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to integrate security measures into the architecture.
Conduct regular security assessments and recommend improvements.
Governance and Standards:
Establish and enforce governance processes for IT architecture decision-making.
Define and maintain IT architecture standards, ensuring consistency and interoperability.
Provide guidance to project teams on adhering to architecture standards.
Qualifications:
BA/BS + 7 years recent specialized or AA/AS + 9 years recent specialized or a major cert + 11 years recent specialized or 13 years of recent specialized experience
Proven experience as an IT Enterprise Architect or in a similar role.
In-depth knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks, methodologies, and best practices.
Strong understanding of application, data, infrastructure, and cloud architectures.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Relevant certifications such as TOGAF, Zachman, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect are a plus.
