About Engineering - Training/Learning and Development Specialist

  General information:

  Hitachi Energy is seeking for an Engineering - Training/Learning and Development Specialist for its Raleigh, NC location. This role is responsible for developing documentation and content using visual emphasis and hands on tools such as videos, pictures, presentations, and hands on training.

  Responsibilities:

  Coordinate and conduct design training programs, including blended learning such as pre-learning, digital learning, experiential, peer-to-peer and workshopsDevelop training curriculum and certification criteria for Engineering team Set-up the platform for cross functional training using a virtual and in-person mode of trainings in various location of Transformer manufacturing facilitiesCollaborate with the Hub engineering training team and focus on IEEE and North American Market Product for learnings & development opportunitiesEvaluate lessons learned, quality alerts, engineering alerts, and incorporate into training for engineering, marketing, and quality functionsSet up periodical trainings for all team members to elevate the fundamental knowledge with innovative ideas and maintain the functional competency matrix to identify the areas of improvement

  Your background:

  Bachelor's Degree in and Engineering or related field and 5+ years of experienceCandidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the U.S.Professional training and development certification is a plus (e.g., CPTD, CLDP, CPLP)Hands-on experience creating digital content in a variety of formats, ability to leverage digital tools to create a dynamic learning experienceExcellent verbal communication, presentation Skills and engagement skills in-person and virtual Ability to travel 10-25%
