Job Description

　　Insight Global is seeking a Engineering Technician local to Minneapolis, MN. In this role, you will be working with one of our manufacturing clients in their liquid lab to perform a variety of different tasks including testing of methods, developing new technologies and products, and equipment calibration. This is physically, a hands-on role that requires strong attention to detail and desire to perform tasks using hand tools and a variety of elements, including oil. A basic understanding of computer skills and Microsoft Office tools such as Excel are required. A strong candidate would be eager to learn, take initiative and able to collaborate easily with others. There are openings for both first and second shifts, all onsite 5 days a week.

　　Skills and Requirements

　　-Associates degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.

　　-Previous experience as a technician or in a related field.

　　-Working knowledge of test equipment and test standards

　　-Proficient computer literacy skills (MS Office, Excel).

　　-Demonstrated mechanical/technical aptitude.

　　-Ability to determine good versus bad data and troubleshoot during testing.

　　-Ability to readily adapt to changing priorities and take direction from supervisors and team members.

　　-Ability to communicate concisely and accurately to individuals and small groups.

　　-Strong attention to detail, accuracy and completeness of data, reports, records, etc.

　　-Willingness to learn and take initiative. -Associates, bachelor's or higher-level of education or degree null
