Basic Job Functions:

C.H.I. Overhead Doors is seeking an Engineering Technician to help us inmeeting our goals for 2023 and beyond. The Engineering Technician willperform engineering duties in planning anddesigningresidential/commercial garage doors, hardware components, andother infrastructure. This role works collaboratively with internal andexternal customers, industry and building products experts, and otherresources to develop these products and processes for the organization.

Additional Responsibilities:

Create new 2D / 3D drawings of parts and assemblies.Assist in the maintenance of files for engineering drawings,engineering change orders, manufacturing specifications and bill ofmaterials.Function as a resource for team members to analyze and troubleshootissues for new and existing products.Works closely with Product Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers, andProcess Engineers to implement new products and updates to existingproducts.Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore,candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead,and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeepingstandards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

Associate degree in Engineering or a related fieldPreferred Qualifications:
