ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
Inframark's Automation & Intelligence is seeking a dynamic individual with significant water & wastewater industry experience, preferably with knowledge of Instrumentation & Controls and SCADA systems, to serve as an Account Executive.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee customer accounts including municipalities, general contractors, and consulting engineers within the Southeast Region.
Manage individual forecasting of project bookings on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
Work closely with Regional Sales Manager in planning and driving regional sales efforts.
Work closely with municipal sales representatives to conduct sales visits to customers.
Support the Estimating Department with proposals and cost estimates.
Promote our technical services and demonstrate an understanding of all solutions, and effectively communicate our offerings and value to customers and engineering firms.
Offer assistance to customers in pre-bid support such as design and budgetary estimates for instrumentation, controls, and SCADA systems.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Civil or Electrical Engineering)
2-5 years of experience in Water & Wastewater Industry with process and technology background (required).
2-5 years of experience in instrumentation and controls (preferred).
2 years with engineering experience.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS
Experience with project execution and construction projects including the following:
Experience/familiarity with the Water & Wastewater processes and industry ecosystem
The ability to read and understand project plans and specifications
The ability to read and understand P&ID drawings and functional descriptions
An understanding of construction projects and scheduling
Excellent verbal and written with consulting engineers and contractors
General Office Skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint
Proficient with PDF packages like Adobe
Comfortable working with design and applications engineers and administrative staff
Comfortable with calling vendor technical support
The desire to learn new skills, products and technologies and apply them
PREFERRED TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE
Both system level and detailed design experience in the following areas of instrumentation:
Process Instrumentation (flow meters, level measurement, pressure measurement, etc.)
Analytical Instrumentation (pH, Chlorine Residual, Turbidity, Streaming Current, Particle Counters, Dissolved Oxygen, ORP, BOD, etc.)
Termination, startup, and calibration of instrumentation
Basic PLC knowledge of the following manufacturers:
Allen-Bradley
Modicon
GE
Siemens
Basic Human-Machine Interface (HMI) / SCADA software knowledge of the following software developers:
AVEVA/Wonderware
VTScada
Ignition
Allen-Bradley RSView/FactoryTalk
GE iFIX
Control Panel Design and Standards
PLC Panels
Remote Terminal Units
Local Control Panels
Motor Control Panels
Variable Frequency Drives
Motor Control Centers
Communications and networking knowledge that is used during the development and deployment of projects:
Fiber optic cabling and topologies
Radio systems including licensed, unlicensed and cellular
Ethernet networking and switches including VLANs, segmentation, routing, and firewalls
Cloud storage, edge devices and machine learning
Cybersecurity technologies in control systems
Computer Hardware and Software
Workstations
Servers
Network Racks
Virtualization
Terminals Services
Operating System licensing and CALs
