Irving Consumer Products, Inc. (ICPI) seeks anEngineering Reliability Team Leaderin Macon, GA to direct, lead and coordinate all reliability, maintenance and improvement activity at the ICPI tissue manufacturing facilities in Macon, as well as the Parts and Inventory Department supporting the ICPI tissue manufacturing facilities in Macon.
The core duties and responsibilities of the position ofTeam Leader, Reliability Engineeringare:
Directing and coordinating all engineering and maintenance activities for reliability, maintenance and improvement of tissue manufacturing operations at the ICPI facilities in Macon, including collaboration with facility maintenance and engineering management to establish consistent, replicable reliability and maintenance systems to encompass all aspects of reliability engineering and maintenance for all operations;meeting, conferring and coordinating with senior maintenance and operations managers, reliability engineers, project engineers, technicians, planners, and production teams to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of reliability, preventative and predictive maintenance, and improvement programs supporting tissue manufacturing operations at the ICPI tissue manufacturing facilities in Macon;establishing engineering, systems reliability, preventative maintenance, and predictive maintenance protocols and quality control standards to improve system reliability, production and production quality, and reduce operating costs;establishing and directing equipment and facility continuous improvement programs to strengthen reliability and upgrade capabilities of people, systems, and capital and maintenance standards;planning, coordination, scheduling and supervision of engineering and maintenance activities and establishing engineering, maintenance, reliability and improvement priorities in keeping with effective operations, production and cost factors;assigning, coordinating and reviewing the technical work of engineering, reliability, maintenance project teams;training and development of engineering, reliability, and maintenance personnel to maintain and improve competence and ensure the safe behavior and safety compliance of the crews and maintenance contractors;direction and oversight for storeroom inventory management systems;support, leadership and direction for long-term program enhancements in the areas of asset criticality analysis, FMEA, planning, scheduling, preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, precision maintenance, downtime analysis, basic care, and root cause analysisThe minimum requirements for this position are:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field;3 years of experience as an Industrial, Mechanical, or Validation Engineer or related professional position supporting tissue manufacturing operations;Experience working as a converting crew leader of a processing engineering team in tissue or related manufacturing;Technical expertise working with Valmet and Futura technologies for converting wood pulp to tissue productsWhat We Offer
