　　In your role, you will

　　• Respond to AOGs (Aircraft on ground) and customer engineering / technical requests.

　　• Produce Engineering solutions to support Repair procedures and drawing deviations.

　　• Provide engineering / technical support to Customers, Maintenance facilities, Service Centers and other Bombardier departments.

　　• Organize investigations for service issues, determine causes of failure and devise effective and innovative solutions.

　　• Use judgment to recognize the implications of proposed solutions and be versatile in providing alternate ways to enable returning aircraft into service safely and to customer satisfaction.

　　• Liaise with other departments, service centers, vendors and suppliers.

　　• Provide 24/7 engineering & technical support to our customers.

　　• This position requires you to work alternating shifts covering days, nights, weekends and statutory holidays, as per a rotating schedule.

　　As our ideal candidate

　　• You hold a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent working experience.

　　• You have five (5) to ten (10) years of experience in engineering related to aircraft structure or mechanical systems.

　　• You have knowledge of metallic and composite structure (an asset).

　　• You are a quick learner, capable of working under pressure and can manage multiple concurrent tasks.

　　• You have a good knowledge of CATIA V5 (2D or 3D) and MS Office.

　　• You are a self-starter, capable of working with a minimum of supervision and you demonstrate innovation, professionalism and commitment qualities.

　　• You are a team player, always eager to help and help others.

　　• You have good verbal and written communication skills in French and English.
