　　This position is responsible for delivering key engineering results in support of the Aerospace Conveyance - Sustaining Engineering and costout portfolio and allied Centers of Excellence, including building organizational capability and capacity within the region and executing the global engineering strategy for the Group

　　Leader in this position will be responsible for -

　　Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring for Conveyance Sustaining Engineering and costout Engineers and related CoE team at EIIC to develop innovative designs that meets all requirements for performance, reliability, safety, cost and manufacturability.

　　Drive growth in terms of breadth and depth of capabilities in Conveyance product and related technology / functional areas

　　Act as a technical mentor and expert tech reviewer. Review and approve design proposals based on requirements/statement of work and present to stakeholders/customers.

　　Continuously develop and enhance the technical capabilities of the teams to provide best in class solutions in line with present and future business needs

　　Develop cost out roadmap for business and identify / drive Cost out projects to ensue Pipeline, Active and Impact targets are met

　　Focus on quickly addressing Plant manufacturing requests to resolve aircraft on ground and line stoppage situations

　　Participate in the creation of REACH strategy based on industry / organizational directions and deploy them within the group and build organization’s capability.

　　Qualifications:

　　Requirement -

　　Masters / Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Aerospace Engineering

　　Relevant experience in Aerospace/Allied domain - 8+ years with Masters degree / 12+ years with bachelors degree

　　Experience of working with multinational engineering organization

　　Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance the value proposition and quality of the engineering deliverables

　　A highly entrepreneurial sense of urgency along with a passion for the industry is desirable, along with a drive to grow both personally and professionally.

　　The position requires the incumbent to be highly proficient in engineering skills, project management and documentation with the ability to manage multiple projects in parallel, thus enabling first time right product development and execution of SE/VAVE/Cost out concepts
