About This Role

　　As our Engineering Manager you will focus on leading our Recommendations and Data product engineering team to continue to scale and improve our Personalization product. You will guide, mentor, and support your team as they work to solve complex challenges involving ML, statistics, data visualization, real-time decision making, and UI.

　　What You’ll Do

　　Lead a team of talented engineers building new features for a highly scalable ML/AI product.

　　Invest in the career growth of your team members, providing long-term mentorship and regular feedback that will enable them to grow as engineers.

　　Collaborate with the broader engineering leadership team to maintain and improve team processes as well as creating a great engineering culture.

　　Support the team in writing simple, well-structured, well-tested code that provides new features and improvements to existing services using Python, React, JavaScript, Druid, and SQL.

　　Research trends in the software development industry and integrate the best technologies, frameworks, and libraries.

　　Engage and lead the team in the technical design and code reviews.

　　Guide the team in Agile SDLC methodologies including: daily scrums, collaboration, sprint reviews, and code demonstrations.

　　Partner closely with Product, Marketing, Sales, Client, and other Engineering teams throughout the full product lifecycle.

　　Break down complex business and software requirements into independent coding tasks and strategies.

　　What You’ll Need

　　5+ years of software development experience.

　　Management experience with strong leadership skills.

　　Fluent in using Python programming language.

　　Experience utilizing JavaScript, JS Frameworks (React, Angular, etc.), and RESTful web services.

　　Passionate about coding, testing, and software development with the ability to write effective unit, system, and integration tests.

　　Ability to collaborate with prospects, clients, other departments and your own team.

　　Intellectually curious, you are interested, engaged and always aiming to improve you and your team.
