Engineering Manager Responsibilities:
Manage engineers working with the engineering teams to build products and/or infrastructure required to support the products at scale
Make sure that the technology stack handles the needs of the product and is flexible enough to scale as requirements change and usage increases
Understand technical architectures, tooling needs, automation plans, product launch plans, and other issues and create comprehensive plans for prioritizing technical and resourcing challenges
Communicate cross-functionality and provide constructive feedback into how the product is designed and help craft solutions to difficult user experience and system integrations problems
Hold technical discussions within organization and have strategic influence
Drive engineering efforts, balance the need to "keep things running" with allocating time to long-term, high-impact projects
Mentor engineers on team,recruit and hire engineers
Play a critical role in helping to set the goals and direction for team

Salary: $312,628.00 to $325,000.00 per year + bonus + equity + benefits. Individual pay is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field. 36 months of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Experience must include 36 months of experience in each of the following:
Management experience with technical teams, or experience as a technical lead or project manager
Building products including front end technologies or backend systems
Coding skills in one of the following: C++, Java, JavaScript, or PHP
Unix or Linux
Scaling high performance, high throughput systems
Coordinating large-scale, cross-functional efforts that span different teams
Developing and managing requirements, and making data-driven decisions
Leading strategic implementation and planning for risk and growth
