About the Role
The Engineering Intern assists Product Development Engineers and Advanced Development Engineers in all aspects of the product development process. Activities include planning, executing, and reporting on various studies required to support product development.
Your Responsibilities
•Work with Product Development Engineer in all aspects of the product development process including materials selection, manufacturing process, validation requirements, component assembly, and installation to vehicle
•Planning, executing, and reporting on various studies required to support product development
•Coordinate engineering changes, and associated trials
•Effectively utilize CAD technology to execute studies and engineering changes in CAD
•Prepare mathematical computations, dimensional and tolerance studies in accordance with engineering/customer requirements
•Assist engineering by generating studies, concepts and sketches, of specific areas, to improve design or eliminate engineering concerns
•Evaluate studies against established objectives

Your preferred qualifications
•High School Diploma
•Currently Attending a College or University for plastics technology, mechanical, industrial, or chemical engineering.
•Proficient Computer knowledge and skills, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
•Professional Communication skills (written and verbal)
•Strong technical and analytical competence in select areas of technology.
•Normal amount of sitting or standing, average mobility to move around an office environment, able to conduct normal amount of work at a computer.
