　　Our Faade Engineering practice provides consulting services toarchitects, building owners, and developers. Our suite of specialtyanalyses helps solve complex design challenges, improvesconstructability, maximizes energy efficiency, and increases security.We offer a range of services for the full building life cycle to helpclients execute ambitious architectural visions. Our consulting servicesinclude materials research, specialty analyses, detailed design,engineering and construction support, and glass and faade failureinvestigations. Nearly two-thirds of the facades we design andengineer are based on customized systems that involved uniquecombinations of materials.

　　The Role

　　We have an opportunity for an Engineer to join our Faade Practice. Thisindividual will be responsible for the detailing of facades and runningrelevant analyses, materials, and systems research, and coordinatingproject work with the team. Must be conscientious and creative,detail-oriented, and professional with attentiveness to clientcommunications.

　　Responsibilities

　　Analyzes faade performance with specialized software (i.e. loading,thermal analysis, condensation risk, geometry).Researches materials and systems to determine specific projectsuitability.Interprets building codes and project/design/constructionspecifications.Prepares faade detailing in 2D and 3D format for clientcommunication.Assists in construction administration, responding to RFIs, andorganizing submittal logs.Attends construction meetings, performs site inspections, andprepares field reports for clients.Interacts with team members and clients regarding projectinformation.Requirements

　　Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering or Architecture. Master\'s degreepreferred.Must have faade experience for small-scale projects.Ability and willingness to travel within the US and internationally.Benefits
