The College Board Infrastructure Engineering team is a dedicated team of4 engineers responsible for researching and implementing automations,improvements and enhancements within our cloud-based infrastructure.College Board has transformed into an Agile organization, embracingDevOps and Cloud-native systems, with the goal of improving speed andreliability of service delivery in support of our mission.Our teamconsists of engineers with a unique blend of skills and experiences, yetwe underline the value of each individual and celebrate the successes ofthe TEAM. We build solutions to help reimagine and reshape engineeringpractices within College Board. We work with Product DevOps, NetworkEngineering, Security, and Infrastructure teams to design, build, andmanage robust infrastructure solutions in AWS at scale. About the Opportunity
As an Engineer I, you will help build and design solutions to reimagineand reshape engineering practices within College Board. You areenthusiastic about personal development and committed to professionalgrowth and learning. You are eager to collaborate with engineers fromdiverse backgrounds while exploring new areas of expertise. You willwork with a wide variety of teams to design, build, and manage robustinfrastructure solutions in AWS at scale.
In this role, you will:
Develop and Implement (60%)
Collaborate with the team to build solutions following Agilemethodologies and incorporating continuous integration/continuousdevelopment (CI/CD) practicesContribute to the development of infrastructure code, automationscripts and single page applicationsAssist in defining transformation patterns for cloud adoptionsWork with domain Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to understandfeatures and capabilitiesSupport the implementation of cloud product offerings aligned withbusiness objectivesAnalyze (20%)
Participate in analysis activities related to infrastructure,systems and processesEvaluate existing systems for potential improvementsSupport (20%)
Assist with maintaining internal tools and use command-lineinterfaces (CLIs) as neededEngage in team discussion to share insights and observationsAbout You
You have:
A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or MISorequivalent training and experienceIdeally 1+ year of software development/engineering experience witha focus on scripts, infrastructure as code and/or automationExperience working with AWS offerings (S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, EC2,CloudWatch, etc.)Ability and enthusiasm to learn new technologies as requiredExcellent communication and practical decision-making skills; abeliever in good comments and documentationAbout Our Process

The hiring range for a new employee in this position is $100,000 to$109,000. Your salary will be carefully determined based on yourlocation, relevant experience, the external labor market, and the pay ofCollege Board employees in similar roles.
