Description:

An Engineer 1 candidate must possess strong trouble-shooting skills in all areas of maintenance including but not limited to guest rooms, meeting space, front of the house areas, back of house areas, kitchens, laundry, electrical, plumbing, mechanical and HVAC systems. An Engineer 1 candidate will also perform preventative maintenance on major equipment and systems, using a windows based computer system.

Qualifications:

Candidate must be willing to work flexible schedule including evenings, holidays and weekends and overnight shifts

Ability to read blue prints and schematics preferred

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time

Must be able to lift/carry/pull moderate amounts of weight

Minimum 3 years of engineering mechanical related experience

Hotel building maintenance experience preferred

Strong working knowledge of all major building systems, including life-safety systems, is required

Good communication skills required

Good customer skills are also required

Journeyman license preferred
