Engagement CoordinatorGreensburg Academic Affairs - Pennsylvania-Greensburg - (24000559)The Engagement Coordinator will partner with school districts to increase opportunities for middle and high school students to participate in programs that contribute to postsecondary enrollment and success;
Expand, plan, and implement summer academy offerings and career exploration experiences for middle and high school students;
Work with school districts to increase high school students' college credit attainment. Coordinate financial literacy and financial aid workshops;
Nurture committee(s) comprised of campus and community/school stakeholders;
Assist with the establishment of mentoring programs in local middle/high schools;
Track results to ensure goal attainment and recommend appropriate adjustments to strategies;
Assist with grant and stewardship reporting;
Support fundraising activities associated with the long-term sustainment of program activities;
Work with media relations to promote and recap program activities. Reports to: Engagement Manager and Principal Investigator.
Minimum Qualifications: To be considered for this role, you must have the following qualifications: A Bachelor's degree and a minimum of two years of relevant experience working with K12 youth. Proficiency in Canva and software tools like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Additionally, you should be comfortable with engaging through social media platforms, writing newsletters, and photography. Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent typing speed, and fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English are essential for this position. Exceptional interpersonal skills, enabling you to thrive in a dynamic and ever-changing environment. Access to transportation is recommended, with the ability to travel within Westmoreland and Allegheny County.
