Job ID359435 LocationTwin Cities Job FamilyAdvancement Full/Part TimeFull-Time Regular/TemporaryRegular Job Code9761AO Employee ClassAcad Prof and Admin About the Job The Engagement & Fundraising Program Manager, University Enterprise Units (UEU), is responsible for creating and implementing an advancement strategy that builds donor communities and increases philanthropic funding for the Office for Undergraduate Education (OUE), Office for Equity and Diversity (OED), Office for Student Affairs (OSA) and the University of Minnesota Alumni Association (UMAA). This position reports to the Lead Development Officer, UEU. Specifically, this position is responsible for the following: Set short and long-terms goals and create and manage related plans for generating increased funding from donors Provide tailored and meaningful engagement experiences and fundraising activities for new and existing donors in each of the four units (OUE, OED, OSA, UMAA) Collaborate with partners from UEU and the broader UMF team, along with the units to facilitate activities and experiences Serve as a content expert; provide industry best practice perspective and recommend program adjustments as part of continuous improvement Starting salary: $78,000- 85,000 based on experience. Job Responsibilities: Advancement Operations (Engagement & Fundraising) & Support (80%) Serve as project manager in executing engagement and fundraising activities for UEU donors and potential donors; coordinate with key UMF (specifically UEU, annual giving and leadership annual giving teams) and unit-based colleagues to achieve goals Develop tailored programs for OUE, OED, OSA, and UMAA donors and prospective donors Create and lead non-major gift activities for UEU programs (i.e., annual fund efforts, crowdfunding, etc.) Manage portfolio of 15-20 leadership annual giving level donors and prospective donors for UEU programs Serve as a content expert; provide industry best practice perspective and recommend program adjustments Data and Fund Management (10%) Establish, track, and analyze progress towards goals to determine effectiveness and adjust, as needed. Request and analyze data for donor and prospective donor information in support of UEU's activities. Administrative (10%) Develop and maintain regular reports Oversee budget Provide other program support, as needed Qualifications Required: BA/BS degree, plus six years of experience working in advancement and/or alumni operations, project or event management, or a combination of experience in a closely related field. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Self-starter, resourceful, highly attentive to details Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a strong sense of urgency coupled with demonstrated success in management of multiple priorities. Demonstrated success in working independently but also collaboratively in a team setting Ability to manage multiple priorities and constituents Solid relationship-building skills with a diverse constituency of donors, faculty, strategic partners, volunteers and colleagues Outstanding oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including effective presentation skills.
