By 2025, we aim to serve 100,000 LMI households annually, reduce their utility costs by $270 Million and Carbon emission by 1.5 million tons, create 2,000 sustainable jobs, and invest over $100 Million in local communities.

　　Position Overview:

　　The Energy Modeler produces building energy modeling simulations and determines energy savings for energy efficient retrofit projects on multifamily buildings as well as new construction projects.

　　Requirements

　　Must Have Qualifications:

　　2+ years’ experience in energy modeling, ideally with TREAT software

　　Possess a solid grasp of mechanical systems including but not limited to HVAC and hot water systems

　　Preferred Qualifications:

　　Possess an understanding of building science and energy conservation measures

　　Understanding of weatherization and of utility energy efficiency incentive programs

　　Proven ability to communicate effectively with customers and peers who do not possess a technical background

　　Proficient in the use of Microsoft suite of products, especially MS Excel

　　Ability to excel in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

　　Location: Remote in the U.S.A.

　　Reports to: Director of Technical Services

　　Skill Level: Intermediate

　　Areas of Expertise: Energy Modeling, Building Science, Energy Efficiency

　　Compensation: $65K/yr DOE

　　Key Responsibilities:

　　Working with partners in the ICAST Sales Department to understand customer needs and ton obtain building documentation needed for energy modeling.

　　Utilizing software to complete building energy models e.g. TREAT, eQUEST.

　　Collaborating with the ICAST teams to propose ways to facilitate energy savings to clients.

　　Producing modeling result reports.

　　Meeting with reports to review accomplishments and issues.

　　Utilizing project management tools to track and report status.
