　　Description:

　　ABOUT THE ROLE

　　This position is primarily responsible for safely and efficiently hauling materials from one designated area to another.

　　WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

　　Communicates clearly with personnel at load and unload areas;

　　Maintains safe speed and observes all plant traffic controls;

　　Conducts pre-trip safety inspection of vehicle, and reports any concerns or unsafe conditions to immediate Supervisor, including near misses and any other areas where safety may be improved;

　　Ensures wheels are properly chocked or otherwise secured;

　　Make certain that safety, compliance and environmental requirements are followed at all times;

　　Attends and participates in all mandatory plant meetings to include safety, environmental, and compliance;

　　Performs maintenance activities to ensure haul truck is maintained to the required standard and assist with other plant maintenance activities as required including site housekeeping or cleanup activities;

　　A clean work area is a safe work area.

　　Other duties as assigned.

　　WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

　　Education: High school diploma or equivalent

　　Experience: 1+ year of professional experience

　　Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

　　Valid Class A CDL required

　　Clean driving record required

　　Must pass DOT drug test, and obtain and retain DOT medical card.

　　Ability to read, write, and speak the English language;

　　Ability to perform elementary mathematical equations:

　　Subtraction, addition, and simple division and multiplication.

　　Excellent driving skills.

　　Strong safety-orientation.

　　Ability to work Saturdays if required to meet business needs.

　　Additional Requirements:

　　Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

　　Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Holcim approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Subject to applicable law, employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
