About EMPLOYMENT MANAGER

Description

Employment Manager

Responsible for recruiting employees at the plant level as well as coordinating other recruitment efforts for Salary and SNE employees. Strong engagement in community involvement activities and employee engagement initiatives for the complex.

Principle Responsibilities:

Ensure compliance with employment law and Company policies and procedures. This includes a large focus on I-9 completion and Immigration Compliance.

Direct recruitment activities at the plant and coordinate recruitment and community involvement activities

Compile information and prepare reports for Complex and Corporate use.

Support facility and Company goals and objectives, specifically related to hourly and salaried staffing and retention of new hires.

Maintain affirmative action program, including reports, records and logs to conform to EEO and regulations and Company requirements. Regularly communicate affirmative action activity to relevant management personnel.Ensure all AAP goals and initiatives are being pursued.

Facilitate the Company’s management training and internship programs

Facilitate meetings and execute Employee Engagement activities at all sites of Complex.

Perform daily, weekly, and monthly audits for Immigration Compliance.

Other duties as assigned

Working Conditions: General office environment, frequent exposure to plant environment

Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Related Experience (minimum 1 year) Human Resources preferred

Experience: Knowledge of recruiting, the hiring process as well as familiarity with applicable laws required, and processing I-9s in compliance with regulatory laws.

Strong Computer skills (Experience withJobvite, Kronos, and SAP applications a plus)

Clerical/Organiziational skills

Strong attention to detail

Frequent mulititasking and ability to navigate a demanding workload

Bilingual-Spanish English (preferred)

Internal: Works closely with plant management and human resources teams.

External: Frequently communicates with applicants and new hires as well as recruiting agencies and community networks.

Manages: Hiring Process and Immigration Compliance with oversight from direct Manager.
