A top healthcare company is seeking a HR consultant who will be handling solely employee relation issues. This person will be partnering with executives on E.R matters but will also speak with every level of employees.
Location: Wethersfield, CT
Hours: Monday-Friday, 1st shift

Job Description:
Liaison between the employer and colleagues to improve performance, mitigate risk and ensure compliance with policies and State/Federal labor law/regulations.
Works to maintain a positive employee relations culture by proactively assessing the work environment to identify and mitigate risk situations.
Working with leadership and employees, facilitates appropriate investigation of workplace concerns and enables resolution.
Teach, coach and mentor leaders on effectively communicating with and engaging colleagues.
Qualifications:
3-5 years minimum Human Resources experience;
Bachelor’s Degree; PHR and/or HR Management degree, 5-7 years experience preferred
Strong investigation skills
Basic labor law knowledge, grievance arbitration, contract interpretation and negotiations (as needed)
