JOB REQUIREMENTS: Emergency Technician - University Hospital - 28626DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Work Schedule: This is a part-timeposition, .90 FTE, Evening/night shift. 8 and 12 hour shifts between thehours of 3:00pm - 7:30am, every other weekend rotation included. We are seeking anEmergency Department (ED) Technician to: * Provide compassionate careto patients as they receive treatment in the Emergency Department. * Beone of the first people a patient interacts with and assist with takingblood samples and getting IVs and catheters started. * Utilizestate-of-the-art equipment. * Communicate directly with providers,nurses, patients, patient\'s families, and other caregivers regardingcare for patients. * Record information in the Electronic MedicalRecord. * Respond to pages/codes and assist as directed. * Act as anobserver for behavior health complaints.
