Robert Half's client is looking for an email Marketing specialist. The Email Marketing Specialist role is pivotal within a critical marketing channel for one of Robert Half's esteemed clients. This position primarily focuses on crafting and deploying custom emails that ensure optimal display across all devices in support of various promotional campaigns, drip campaigns, event emails, and more. The role demands a high level of technical proficiency and plays a crucial part in enhancing the email customer experience for millions of users, including our most valuable customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Project management involving coordination across multiple teams such as design, merchandising, email, and data analytics.

Transforming email designs into personalized HTML emails that are compatible with various email clients.

Adhering to production schedules to ensure timely execution and delivery of campaigns.

Utilizing SQL queries to segment send lists and customize email content based on specified criteria.

Conducting A/B tests, interpreting results, and providing insights.

Generating reports using Excel and SQL.

Adhering to email best practices related to design, messaging, segmentation, and construction.

Requirements

Requirements:

Experience, Skills, and Education:

3-5 years of marketing experience.

Advanced-level proficiency in HTML, CSS, and Ampscript (or similar dynamic scripting languages) for coding dynamic and personalized marketing content.

High-level proficiency in relational database architecture and SQL for segmenting lists and aggregating customer insights.

Advanced-level knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud or equivalent enterprise-level Marketing SAAS Platform.

Understanding of email marketing best practices, including targeting, A/B testing, and knowledge of deliverability, sender score, reputation, and CAN-SPAM regulations (a plus).

Experience with quality assurance processes and meticulous attention to detail.

Problem-solving skills and a drive to streamline processes.

Track record of executing high-volume email campaigns accurately in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent ability to meet tight deadlines.

Preferred:

Local candidate in the Washington DC area.
