Engage in and support the integration of new equipment and procedures into the Control Center (CC) environment; and assist with Operations & Maintenance (O&M) standards development. Support technical team in configurations and integrations of wide area data networks with mission-critical reliability requirements and the required support systems. Interpret functional and non-functional requirements of projects and recommend overall system configurations. Provide coordination and assist with configuration and integration efforts for the implementation of projects for the Company's Field Sites and CC locations. Develop, validate, and execute test Operations & Maintenance procedures to be published for compliance. Provide clear technical documentation for all assigned projects. Report all project status updates to the Workload Coordinator, including reporting when job assignments are complete. Represent and serve as the operations subject matter resource on technology teams involving assigned systems and equipment. Create, draft, and recommend policies, procedures, standards, and plans for new technology based on operational equipment in gathering performance data. Serve as a system trouble-shooter and notify maintenance personnel of operational problems, the impact of those problems on power system operation, and the relative urgency for repair of the problem. Perform daily checks for the health of the servers, troubleshoot device failures, synchronize servers, add/remove devices, ensure database integrity, and run reports. Generate and maintain network, NERC/CIP, and FISMA documentation, use layer 2 and layer 3 network concepts to deploy and maintain various networking equipment in large high availability WAN network environments and Packet Transport systems. Develop database script automation tools to analyze various equipment performance monitoring, use Software Defined Wide Area Network (SDWAN), Automatic Fiber Management Systems (AFMS), and Alarm/Management Systems, like Telenium and SolarWinds, to optimize work and prevent outages. Maintain Central Authentication Authorization & Account (AAA) systems, like Cisco Secure Access Control Server (CSACS) and ISE, (including daily checks for the health of servers, troubleshooting servers, synchronization between servers, adding/removing devices, and database integrity), backend authentication one-time password RSA (Remote Server Access) Key server, SCADA, AGC, and telemetry systems.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering (from an ABET-accredited school) is required. 10 years of experience and knowledge of computer network and systems concepts, principles, and practices applicable to components and facilities found in a regio
