  Electronic Controls Technician – 2nd Shift, Full Time

  Seeking a motivated Electronic Controls Technician to join our team. Responsible for designing, modifying, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic production components.

  WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU:

  2nd Shift: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM; Monday – Friday.

  Starting hourly pay of $33.09, plus shift differential from 4:00 PM – 8:00 AM.

  $3000 sign-on bonus, paid out in three increments.

  Overtime available and assigned on rotational basis.

  Comprehensive Nestlé benefits after 30 days of employment.

  WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH:

  Tests, troubleshoots, and repairs electronic production equipment and systems including machine controls, robots, HMIs, PLCs, VFDs, motors, computers, train operators, and communication devices.

  Reads and modifies PLC ladder logic and CAD electrical and mechanical drawings.

  Understand and troubleshoot X-Ray, automatic guided vehicles, and other non-standard controls equipment.

  Utilizes CMMS/SAP to document work order related information.

  Ensures that all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) are followed and the highest standards for quality, safety, and compliance are promoted.

  Follows all company policies & procedures as well as the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's).

  REQUIREMENTS:

  High school diploma, GED, or trade school equivalent, required .

  2-year degree in electrical related field, preferred .

  2 years of industrial electrical experience, preferred .

  SKILLS:

  Previous food manufacturing experience is helpful.

  Strong electrical design and troubleshooting skills.

  Proficiency in platforms such as RS Linx, RS Logix 500, RS Logix 5000, Factory Talk View, DeviceNet, EtherNet, Data Highway, and Microsoft Windows.

  Ability to troubleshoot 480V electrical connections.

  Ability to read, interpret, and revise equipment manuals, policies, instructions, and schematics.

  Knowledge of standard electrical symbols, prints, and NFPA 70e.

  Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
