Orrick currently has an excellent opportunity for an Electronic Billing Specialist II in the Wheeling, WV "GOIC" office.
Responsibilities
The Electronic Billing Specialist II works closely with the billing team to proactively address eBilling issues.Proactively review the new timekeeper report for any new timekeepers.Liaison with our pricing team to obtain the rates for any new timekeeper working on a matter with a client specific rate agreement.Timekeeper submission for all timekeepers that are currently not being maintained by the pricing team.Liaison with the billing analyst and members of the CPO Team, as appropriate, to ensure they know the status of any pending timekeepers.Maintain and share a weekly timekeeper checklist that will detail the status of all pending timekeepers.Weekly audit to ensure all new matters that require timekeeper approval are marked.Monitor the weekly rejection report and resolve all rejections.Submit all non-standard electronic invoices on behalf of the billing team.Monitor and correct e-billing submissions with basic validations issues.Take the lead on special projects associated with ebilling, as directed by the Electronic Billing Supervisor.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business or Finance or equivalent work experience.3 or more years billing experience in a law firm; electronic billing knowledge is preferred.Aderant, Elite (or equivalent accounting software) experience.Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office.Ability to multi-task and prioritize.Self-starter, highly motivated and well organized.Ability to perform at high levels in a dynamic work environment and successfully adapt to changing priorities and work demands.Ability to anticipate work needs and follow through with minimum direction, follow up on own initiative.Who is Orrick?
