(S)he will be responsible fortroubleshooting electrical and mechanical problems and implementingcorrective and preventative measures.
Essential Duties:
Repair and maintain a variety of equipment and perform preventativemaintenance on distribution center and/or manufacturing equipmentUse diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot, analyze and predictupcoming failuresDismantle machines and equipment to gain access to problem areasOperate metalworking machines such as bench lathes, millingmachines, punch presses, and drive presses to fabricate housings,fittings, jogs and fixturesInspect and measure parts to detect wear, misalignment, or otherproblemsRemove and/or replace worn or defective partsOther duties as assigned.Qualifications:
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)4+ years of commercial or industrial maintenance experience orexperience in a related fieldDemonstrates good leadership and communication skillsExperience with low and high voltage electrical systemsDemonstrated understanding of operating principles of frequencydrives, servos, electrical and PLCsDemonstrated ability to troubleshoot PLCs, I/O and VFDsProficient at maintaining and troubleshooting PLCs, I/O and VFDssoftwareMust be flexible and willing to work the demands of the departmentwhich may be subject to evenings, weekends and holidays.Must be able to frequently reach up to 31-77 inches.Physical Demands:
