Description:

　　Our client is a leading developer of laser and electro-optical systems for the aerospace community, with key contributions to earth-sensing, laser communications, and lidar sensors for NASA, DoD, and commercial customers. They are seeking a highly motivated individual to join their team, with the ability to perform a wide range of electronics technician tasks primarily involving the integration and test of electronics systems. The Electronics Technician will perform a wide range of hands-on tasks related to the assembly, integration, and test of electronics circuit boards, systems and associated cabling/harnessing. The Electronics Technician will work both independently and on small teams on projects that may include design, prototyping, fabrication, modification, and evaluation of components, circuitry, boards, and systems.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Cable/harness design, build, and test

　　Electronics board and box integration and test

　　Electronics lab custodian

　　Participation in tests and experiments

　　Skills:

　　electronic testing, circuit board, Schematic, cable harness, soldering, assembly, pcb, capacitor, electronics, blackbox, layout design, altium

　　Additional Skills & Qualifications:

　　Required:

　　• Experience assembling and testing electronics systems

　　• Familiarity with the use of lab instruments and equipment: power supply configuration and set-up, oscilloscope operation and data capture, DMMs, voltage, current, and power measurements.

　　• Familiarity with standard components and circuits (resistors, capacitors, etc.)

　　• Experience with schematic capture

　　Preferred:

　　• Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering

　　• Experience with layout tools (Altium, Pads, etc.)

　　• Experience with space electronics
