　　The basic function of the Journeyman Electrician is to complete work as assigned in a professional and safe manner while satisfying the customer, meeting productivity goals, and teaching apprentices and un-indentured apprentices.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS• Perform the job to the standards as set by the job specifications and company standards.• Complete all paperwork as required by the foreman to track the job.• Provide suggestions to improve the task productivity or quality.• Set an example for others to follow.• Report any changes to the scope of work to your foreman.• Acquire, maintain, and carry appropriate hand tools. Maintain and protect those tools and pieces of equipment checked out and their proper return.• Work with the safety director to promote safety on the job.• Attend and participate in weekly job site toolbox talks.• Maintain all appropriate trade licenses.REQUIREMENTS• Electrical Education, Electrical License, and experience appropriate for the current assignment• Experience in Electrical Construction.• Must possess the ability to work closely with diverse groups of people, including company employees at all levels, and other outside professionals with whom the company deals with on a regular basis.• Driving is not a general requirement of this position; however the Journeyman Electrician must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and a good driving record in order to drive a vehicle on company business.• Includes sitting, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, and use of hands and arms to operate basic tools.• Occasional lifting up to 100 pounds.
