AsElectrician I, you will: * Test electrical systems or continuity ofcircuits in electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures, using testingdevices, such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, or ammeters, to ensurecompatibility and safety of system. * Modify, maintain, or repairelectrical, electronic, equipment, or systems to ensure properfunctioning; ensure all safety and lock out tag out procedures followedif applicable. * Perform all electrical preventative maintenance andvisual inspection for damage on equipment in applicable areas; ensureall safety and Lock out/Tag out procedures are followed if applicable.* Work from ladders, scaffolds, or roofs to install, maintain, orrepair electrical wiring, equipment or fixtures. * NOTE: thisdescription is not intended to be all inclusive. Qualifications MinimumQualifications (Required): * Must be 18 years of age or older. * Mustbe able to work in the United States without sponsorship. * Must beable to work in a variety of work temperatures warm, hot, humid, cold,wet or with slippery surfaces at varied heights in and around movingequipment and parts with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).* Must be able to perform the job duties with or without reasonableaccommodations. * Ability to work extended scheduled hours Mondaythrough Saturday with daily overtime. Must be able to work overtime asrequired. Start times and hours vary based on production needs. * StateBeginner Electrician Registration. * 1 year prior electrical experienceor equivalent schooling. * Must be able to successfully completetraining: * Safety. * Safe Quality Food (SQF). * Good ManufacturingPractices (GMPs).\" * Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point(HACCP). * Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). * Food defense. *Lock out/Tag out. Preferred Qualifications: * Prior maintenanceexperience in a USDA inspected beef, pork, or poultry facility. * Priorproduction experience. * Work history in the last 12 months.
