Amentum is seeking to hire licensed electricians to support a project in Honolulu, Hawaii, at Hickam Air Base. In this position you be joining a group of skilled professionals performing a renovation project to an existing USG facility. This project is housed within one of the existing hangars that is part of the historic attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941. The renovation work has many interesting aspects and lead by a team of professional managers, that work together to meet project goals. The positions will last for approximately 3 months.

　　Electrician Job Responsibilities:

　　Using contract drawings and specifications install conduit, wire, support fixtures, lighting and devices.

　　Coordinate with architectural and mechanical trades personnel in the installation of project required equipment and materials.

　　Assist in activities that require all personnel to support a major activity, such as a demolition activity within the space.

　　Inspect and test electrical systems, including fuses, transformers and circuit breakers.

　　Stay apprised of revisions to National Electric Code (NEC) and other relevant legislation, building and safety regulations.

　　Project Details:

　　Work hours are 0600 to 1630 HRS, Monday though Thursday. Transportation to and from the project is provided. Housing is a one-bedroom apartment located within proximity of Waikiki Beach in Honolulu. Air travel is standard coach class, to and from point of departure.

　　Electrician Qualifications/Skills:

　　Ability to run conduit.

　　Working knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs).

　　Communications skills, ability to interact with other skilled trade professionals, designers, and clients.

　　Knowledge of National Electric Code, state and local building codes.

　　Knowledge of energy-efficient equipment and products.

　　Use of testing equipment and hand tools.

　　Ability to work well individually and as part of a team.

　　Education, Experience & Licensing Requirements:

　　Up-to-date electrician’s license.

　　5 - 7 years commercial or industrial electrical experience.

　　Experience with new builds, and renovation projects.

　　An active TS security clearance is required at time of application with SCI eligibility.
