The Opportunity As the Electrician at Grand Casinos, you play a crucial role in the Facilities team, overseeing the installation, repair, maintenance, and service of electrical equipment across our properties. Reporting directly to the VP of Facilities, you will contribute to the efficient functioning of our facilities, ensuring compliance with electrical codes and safety regulations. What you get to do Install, maintain, and repair existing electrical equipment. Assess the condition of electrical equipment, troubleshoot malfunctions, and execute necessary repairs. Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Undertake special electrical projects as assigned. Conduct thorough inspections to guarantee the quality and safety of electrical installations. Implement and enforce industry best practices for electrical work. Adhere to established electrical codes and ensure compliance with OSHA safety rules and regulations. Respond to daily work orders in alignment with facility needs. Manage inventory stock and identify materials and quantities required for new and repair projects. Follow manufacturer instructions on SDS sheets for the proper use of cleaning materials, chemicals, and equipment. Work closely with other departments and contractors to integrate electrical systems seamlessly into the overall casino infrastructure. Provide guidance and support to junior electricians and apprentices. Perform additional duties as assigned, adapting to changing business needs.
