　　Basic Job Functions:

　　The role of the Electrical Utility is to hone electrical skills learnedin the classroom by working hands-on in an electrical maintenancedepartment in an effort to meet the necessary qualifications to be anelectrician III at Nucor Steel Arkansas. The person in this role must beable to take direction and determine a course of action to be able tocomplete the electrician III requirements.

　　Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore,candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead,and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeepingstandards at all times.

　　Minimum Qualifications:

　　Ability to read electrical schematicsSome related industrial electrical maintenance and automationexperience in a manufacturing facility OR equivalent electricaltraining OR equivalent military experienceAbility to use electrical test equipmentAbility to follow trouble-shooting procedures for electrical systemsand equipmentPreferred Qualifications:
